The "Little Black Dress" in western party-wears or casual wears came into being since 1920-s by the renowned fashion designer Coco Chanel. Women used it as a day-time wear with simple accessories and day make-up. The same dress could be a marvelous evening-wear with sparkling jewellery and a shade louder make-up. Black is a color that could be contrasted with a wide range of colors. The mute ones for casual wears or outfits for day-wear and the brighter or louder shades for the evenings and special occasions. They are usually gowns, body-hugging and at times strapless. Sometimes the straps are of a different color or with a metallic luster. Accompanied by a low waist belt tucked with sparkling girdle ornaments add to the gaudiness.
